How shapes fit together and the joy of working with such a direct, raw material as rust has become an ongoing creative practice of exploration. This collection of rust goes back to when I lived in NYC, and continues to evolve and inspire. When working with these pieces, my criteria is that they hold themselves together without the use of adhesive or glue....wire binding is, however, allowed. I work them, and they work me....The titles also take on special importance as once the work is complete, it seems to become a Being of its own making.
